FI into Hungary

It is time to be extremely toxic with this cookie cutter strategy than can be played on land or water. Perform a fast industrial behind a wall of towers then turn all this turtling into relentless agression by revolting to Hungary and leveraging the synergies with these towers. Be aware that anyone with half decent scouting will understand what you are trying to do and try to stop you.
Age I :
Perform a TP+mosque+house opening. As with every fast industrial, herd aggressively. You need at least 3 herds in base to perform this strategy.
You have two possibilities for age up :
- Fast but exposed : Age up with the quartermaster. In transition mine 50 coins then everyone back to food. Use the wood from the age up to build a market and a trade post. Research hunting dogs at the market then sell food for 300 coins.
- Slower but safer : Age up with the imam. You will get a 2nd mosque to build in base. Use when there is no safe 2nd trade post slot. In transition mine for 100 coins then everyone back to food. Build the mosque in base, heal your explorer with the imam then put the imam in your TC so you have a pseudo tower.
Age II :
Ship 700c as soon as you hit the 2nd age. Macro for 1200 food and 1000 coin. Then ship the 2 towers (even if you do not see any aggression). Cover your hunts with your towers.
Variant : You can invert the order of shipments (2 towers then 700 coins) if you spot an early aggression. This will delay your age up by ~45 seconds but will deter any form of harassment.
In transition chop for an extra house (and a market+hunting dogs if you aged up with the imam) and mine 200 coins. Then everyone back to food.
Age III :
Ship advanced frontier defences. This will upgrade your current towers and give you three more. Keep gathering food as we need a lot for the industrial age.
Ship 1000 coins as soon as possible and age up with the tycoon whenever you can.
In transition you need to gather 500 coins. Ship 1000 wood when you have a shipment available. Gather the wood crates and build two extra towers in base. Keep the rest banked in preparation for the revolt. Then split your workers between food and coin prepare for the revolt.
Age IV :
Gather the 1000 coins. Combined with the 500 ones you gathered in transition, you will be able to research mercantilism to ship the two factories and the two bombards. WAIT until the factories have arrived before shipping the bombards to avoid being pop capped. We still want the TC to produce yörük.
Set the factories on wood. Macro for 1000f 1000w 1000c then revolt to Hungary when your bombards arrive.
Revolt :
You have ~25 grenzers, 7 Magyar (i.e imperial) hussars and 2 bombards. Push hard. Your shipments are somewhat weak sauce besides 3 falconets and you don't have a good shipment of anticav units besides 12 crabats to replace your expendable grenzers. Set your factories on food to produce grenzers out of your TC and complement them using falconets from the home city. Ship the hungarian grenadiers once you reach the enemy's base and need to clean up fast. If you need more cav to deal with enemy artillery, set your factories to coin and ship the Magyar hussars. The more towers you have the more value you get so don't rush it.
Variants :
The present deck is setup to enable two alternative strategies :
- You can do a sipahi FF if you feel the your opponent is greeding in preparation for your Hungary revolt.
- Age 2 water boom into a revolt. This route is slow and if you play your cards right, you may overwhelm your opponent before revolting. The advantage of going this route is you get to keep parts of your economy when revolting and you can use your towers to cover the shoreline. And if you shipped the grenade launcher upgrade before revolting, your 20 range Hungarian grenadiers will trade well vs skirmishers.
