Fast Industrial into revolt

Spanier
An adaptation of Dori's excellent Chile revolt BO. This version is more all in allowing you to revolt earlier. However, you lose the benefits of Spanish gold if you are forced to stay at age 3 for too long.
Game plan :
Perform a delayed economic FF with spain then jump straight to industrial and revolt quickly for an enormous push backed by Spain's cheaper shipments. Depending on your choice of revolt, you can make minor alterations to your build. By default, we will assume a Peruvian revolt as it is not biased toward any unit in the Spanish roster. If you choose a different revolt, you will have some alterations to make.
Age I :
Perform a 16/20 tp opening. Focus on food and wood treasures to speed up the house. Ship capitalism, then 3 settlers. you can invert the order of the two shipments if you got a wood treasure and built the house early. You can age at 15 vils provided you have decent treasures. Age up with/ the governor.
Transition : Queue 2 settlers. Split settlers 10 on food/6 on coin.
Age II :
Ship 5 settlers then 700w. Macro you workers for 1200f 1000c. Keep in mind you have 2 settlers and a half on coin because of capitalism.
Scout the enemy and age up with the politician indicated in the table below.
With the 700 wood, build two houses, a market, a church and a TP. If you feel under pressure, replace the TP with a military building. You might have to abandon the FI and fight in age 3.
In transition, queue 3 settlers. Then macro for 1000f (to combine with the crates for age up) and 1200c. Keep gathering food and coin to prepare for the revolt.
Age III :
Ship 1000f then 1000w. Macro for 1000f (to combine with the crates for age up) and 1200c.
Age up with the politician given in the table below. Queue 2 settlers. In transition macro for 1000c, 1000f and pick up the wood. Once you have the resources banked, put all your settlers on food. your herds are likely running out. Default to berries in this case. Any excess food will be converted to revolutionaries.
Age IV :
Ship 2 heavies. Revolt as soon as they are here. Push. Hard.
Options :
The build order above is mainly for Peru. If you want to revolt with another nation, see the alterations below.
- Argentina : Ship 7 cows (marked with an A) after the 700w. You need extra XP treasures to not delay the fast industrial. With the 700w, build a livestock pen, a saloon, two houses and research selective breeding. In transition to industrial research folk heroes. Do not send anything in industrial and revolt asap.
- Chile : You can send the "C" shipment instead of shipment 7.
- Gran Colombia : You can send the "G" shipment instead of shipment 7. This will help you maintain a decent economy post-revolt, as Gran Colombia is a defensive option.
Revolt | Age 3 politician | Age 4 politician |
---|---|---|
Argentina | Scout/Sergeant/Adventurer | Engineer |
Chile | Scout | Engineer |
Gran Columbia | Scout/Sergeant/Adventurer | Musketeer (If no factory)/Engineer (if factory) |
Peru | Scout/Sergeant/Adventurer | Cavalry Marshal/War Minister |
Notes :
Your deck is capable of supporting a Piroshiki FF if needed. Regarding the revolts you can choose :
Peru : Peru does not have the infinite 16 revolutionaries. You can send the "G" shipment instead of shipment 7 to maintain unit production post-revolt. You can also send the morrochucos and follow with 6 fattened llamas to train revolutionaries.
Argentina gives you cows and units that can harvest them upon revolting. I altered the build such that your shipment of 7 cows is fully fattened when revolting, allowing your gauchos to harvest them with little oversight. Your first shipment should be mounted granaderos. You will be able to train some more from the saloon after the shipment arrives.
Chile upgrades your hussars to quasi-imperial. Shipping hussars and ageing up with the scout significantly increase your tempo. Mind heavy fortifications however.
Gran Colombia should only be used to deny a water boom, as you will be conducting an offensive on land and on water.
What about revolutionary Mexico ? See this build order : https://aoe3-homecity.com/en/strategies/decks/hacienda-boom-into-mexico-625
